As a registered nurse with 13 years of pediatric experience in various settings and a parent of three children, I have come to see how important the bond is between a parent or caregiver and their child. Whether you are a mother or father, breastfeeding or bottle feeding, working full-time or a stay at home parent, your relationship with your child is one that should be nurturing- and an experience that you or your child will benefit from in many ways.
I have had the recent opportunities to become a Certified Lactation Counselor and also to be trained as an parent educator of infant massage. I hope to use my education and training, as well as personal experience, to help families learn to care for their children to the best of their abilities.
